Wrestlemania, ECW, and No Way Out
Welcome one and all to the first and hopefully not the last Junk Is Blogged! This blog is primarily about professional wrestling. I will discuss pro wrestling and will try to answer any of your questions. I do ask that in your comments, you keep them clean with no profanity and no sexual content. That's not so much to ask for right? Now let's get to it. World Wrestling Entertainment's Superbowl, Wrestlemania 23 is right around the corner and I am so excited to be able to attend the Spectacular event live! The matches that have been announced for the card so far are very good! I beleive Shawn Michales vs. John Cena for the WWE Championship may steal the show, as HBK always does. Speaking of Shawn I reccomend any fan of his to pick up his biography, Heartbreak and Triumph. It's a must read for any fan of the heart break kid. I am really looking forward to the HBK vs. Cena match. If I'm not mistaken it is the first main event face vs. face match at Wrestlemania since Hulk Hogan vs. The Ultimate Warrior years back. For those of you unaware, a face or babyface is a good guy wrestler, a heel is a bad guy wrestler. Should be very interesting to see who the detroit crowd cheers for come April 1st. I like both men and although I want to see HBK come out on top, I won't boo Cena either. Did any of you guys see the No Way Out PPV this past Sunday? I thought it was a very good PPV with a lot of star power from all 3 brands: RAW, Smackdown, and ECW. Batista's turn against his tag team partner and Wrestlemania opponent The Undertaker got quite a rise out of the Los Angeles crowd. I'm looking forward to seeing how the crowd reacts to him on this Friday's Smackdown. I beleive WWE's brand of ECW is coming along nicely! I wish they would have more hardcore matches but I like the New Breed vs. The Originals rivalry. It's good too see the Originals having some more tv time. I'm looking forward to seeing the 3rd Money In The Bank Ladder match at Mania 23. So far Edge and CM Punk have qualified to be in the MITB match and both are very strong talents. I would love to see Punk win it and cash it in to go for RAW's WWE Championship or any of the 3 big championships for that matter. My thoughts and prayers go out to Mike Awesome's family and freinds, as the Former ECW World Champion just passed away. Anyways I hope you enjoyed the first edition of Junk Is Blogged and please, please send me some feedback and questions, I would love to answer them!
