Backlash Predictions

Hello wrestling fans, or all my Xbox Live freinds, and welcome to Junk Is Blogged: Backlash Predictions! First off I want to thank you all for stopping by my blog, my Wrestlemania XXIV predictions post was the most hits I have ever had so thank you all for checking my Blog out! Also; if you have the time, check out some of my old post which include: WWE's Greatest Talkers, Old PPV Predictions including last years Wrestlemania, A totally original WWE Storyline I created, and my opinion on Mike Adamle joining the ECW announce team. Please leave a comment if you read any of my post [including this one] so I can know how many people have visited! Now onto my 2008 WWE Backlash Predictions! Match #1: MVP vs. Matt Hardy For the United States Championship. I am really looking forward to this match! These two guys undoubtly had one of, if not the best rivalry of last year, and that's without barely wrestling a match! The few times we have seen these two wrestle, they have meshed very good together and have had very solid matches. I'm hoping this one kicks off the show! Junk's Prediction: MVP. The man who is "Better than You" has been U.S. Champ now for almost a year, and I do not see him losing it just yet. Plus this rivalry still has some juice in it, so why kill it already by letting Hardy win? Match #2: Big Show vs. The Great Khali. I'm not so sure about this match, and how good it will be. While big Show is very talented for his size, Great Khali just plain out sucks! He is worthless and should be thrown out, Fired! However I am interested in this match because of the Giant vs. Giant thing. Here's hoping Big Show carries the match! Junk's Prediction: Big Show. They already had Show job out to Floyd Mayweather at Mania, so they better make the right decision her and have Big Show win. How would it look if Khali won, when we all know Ric Flair said a month back that Show was the best Big man in the buisness? Match #3: Mickie James, Maria, Cherry, Michelle McCool, Kelly Kelly, and Ashley vs. Beth Pheonix, Layla, Victoria, Melina, Jillian, and Natalya. WOW that is a lot of Divas! Pretty much every Diva on the Roster! We all have our favorite Diva and mine just so happens to be the leader of one of these gigantic teams: Mickie James. This match could be pretty decent, there are some good wrestlers in her, and some bad; but I think this match will be pretty decent. To quote the great Joey Styles: CAT FIIIIGHT!!! Junk's Prediction: Beth Pheonix's team. Mickie won the title from Beth a couple weeks ago on RAW, then Mickie and her team got the upper hand on Beth and her team on last week's RAW. Therefore it is now Beth's turn. Match #4: Batista vs. Shawn michales: Chris Jericho is guest refferee. I'm calling SHOWSTEALER!!! Hey, I was right about Flair and michales being the showstealer, and I'm going to be right again. I am really enjoying this rivalry, and I hope this is'nt the only match we will see these two wrestle together! Adding Y2J in the mix was a fantastic idea! Should be a very, very good match! Junk's Prediction: Batista. I'm pretty sure either Jericho will screw HBK, or the Animal will win fair and square but I'm almost positive that Batista wins this one. Match #5: Kane vs. Chavo Guerrero For the ECW Championship. Hey everyone, look it's pretty much a Smackdown match! Kane [who apparently is on ECW] vs. Chavo [who also is apparently on ECW]. Despite the fact that I wish ECW would start having more original Superstars of their own like, CM Punk and Elijah Burke, this match should be a good one. I expect it to be way longer than there match at Mania. It's just too bad we have to hear Mike Adamle call it. Junk's Prediction: Kane. Since Chavo and his minions took out Kane on Tuesday's ECW, Kane will overcome the odds and retain. Although you never know,WWE usally does'nt let Kane win too much in a row. Match #6: The Undertaker vs. Edge For the World Heavyweight Championship. These two had a classic at Mania, and i'm hoping for another one this Sunday! Expect a really good, back and forth match. Junk's Prediction; The Undertaker. I heard a long time ago that Taker was promised a long title reign, and the only reason it did'nt happen last year is beacause of his injury. I'm pretty sure taker retains here. Randy orton vs. Triple H vs. JBL vs. john cena In a Fatal 4 Way Elimination Match For the WWE Championship. This one is going to be exciting! Last year's Backlash main event was a fatal 4 Way match also, and it was really good. I do not expect this to be any different! Who will be WWE Champion when Backlash goes off the air? Junk's Prediction: Randy Orton. Yes, I beleive the Legend Killer will continue his title reign. Only this time no one can say he won by luck like at Mania, because it is a elimination match. Yes Orton Fans rejoice, and Orton Haters [like myself] pout, because unfortuantly we are all living in The Age Of Orton. ECW:The New Breed of Dissapointment

Hello fellow bloggers! This edition of my blog has a very bitter and angry tone to it. As you probally already know WWE has replaced 1 half of their ECW lead announce team; Joey Styles, with former NFL announcer Mike Adamle. Now while Joey is not fired, he has been moved to manager of wwe.com. Okay, first things first they should have never taken Styles away from announcing on ECW! Joey has been the voice of ECW since the original and whether WWE wanted him to go work for their website or not, they should have kept him at the announce table also. And furthermore, they replace him with Mike Adamle. Adamle, a guy who has no experience announcing professional wrestling! And get this, Mike is reportedly being paid 300,00 dollars per year! This past week of ECW reminded me of why I get dissapointed with the brand. Firing the originals:Dissapointment. December to Dismember:Dissapointment. Firing Paul Heyman;Dissapointment. Putting Smackdown Superstars on the roster, when ECW needs to build there own roster instead of relying on the boys from Friday Nights:Dissapointment. Removing the voice of ECW from his announcing duties, and replacing him with Mike Adamle:Dissapointment. Unless ECW starts pushing people like Tommy Dreamer, instead of Mike Knox, Unless ECW just features brand exclusive Superstars except for special occasions, and unless WWE fires Mike Adamle, ECW will continue to be a:DISSAPOINTMENT! Wrestlemania XXIV Predictions

Hello all of my fellow bloggers and welcome to Junk Is Blogged: Wrestlemania edition! I hope all of you guys are as pumped up about the biggest night of the year in sports entertainment! The card is packed with amazing matches and celebrity appearances that only Wreslemania can bring you! Now let me waste no more time and get right to my Wrestlemania XXIV predictions! I want to point out that by putting a number in front of each match I am not ranking my favorites, I am only classifying how many matches there are. Match #1: CM Punk vs. John Morrison vs. Carlito vs. Shelton Benjamen vs. Mr. Kennedy vs. MVP vs. Chris Jericho In A Money In The Bank Ladder Match!The money in the bank match is always one of the most exciting matches at Wrestlemania, if not the whole year; and I do not expect this one to dissapoint. It's a shame Jeff Hardy got busted for drugs right before Mania; he will defintly be missed in this match. But there are seven very talented superstars in this match so it'll be okay. Most of the superstars in this match are high flyers so that will for sure make for some good moments. I think everyone will be talking about this match no matter who wins it. Junk's Pick: Mr. Kennedy. Yes I predict Mr. Kennedy to win two years in arow! Kennedy had to give up his MITB breifcase last year after suffering an unfortunate injury, but I beleive that he will win again and this time cash it in the same night after the triple threat main event! Match #2: JBL vs. Finlay-Belfast Brawl! I'm looking forward to this one! I'm a huge JBL fan and a big Finlay fan as well and I'm very happy with their decision to make this one a belfast brawl! This on sure wonn't be a classic wrestling match but it should be a highly entertaining slugfest! Junk's Pick: Finlay. I want JBL to win but it is defintly not going to happen. With all of the things Bradshaw has done to Hornswoggle it's time for finlay to avenge his little Horny.Match #3: 24 Man Battle Royal-Winner Faces Chavo Guerrero For the ECW Championship! Okay so first off I will make my Battle Royal prediction. There are 24 men; some Superstars from ECW some from Smackdown. I pray to God that Khali or Chuck Palumbo do not win this thing, that would really suck! Junk's Pick: Kane. I hope Kane will win and the WWE will give him the push he deserves, but then again he's like 4-6 at Mania so I may be wrong on this one. But now onto the ECW title match. Since I think Kane wins, that means he would face off against Chavo. That would be a good match, but i have to say there is now way that Kabe could win two matches in one Mania night; so........ Junk's Pick: Chavo Guerrero. Match #4: Batista vs. Umaga-Smackdown vs. Raw! I beleive this is the first one on one match between these two Animals. This match is for brand supremacy and although I would like to see Umaga win because he's reppin Raw.... Junk's Pick: Batista. It should a slobberknocker of a match, and pretty fast paced seeing as how these two big men are pretty agile and quick! Match #5: BunnyMania: Beth Pheonix and Melina vs. Maria and Ashley-In A Lumberjack Match! Let's all hope this match is better than last years Divas Lumberjack match! It's a shame Candice had to get surgery right before Mania cause she is a way better wrestler than Ashley. Ashley sucks in looks and wrestling,fire her WWE she's a peice of crap! Okay, sorry about my rant, let's get back to the match. Snoop Dogg is the master of Ceramonies for this thing so I'm Hoping mabye he'll flirt with Maria or something, and Santino will come out and the will get into a fight! Anyways I know this match won't be a classic like Trish Stratus vs. Mickie James at Wrestlemania 22 but I' think it could be a fun match! Junk Pick: Maria and Ashley. Match #6: Edge vs. The Undertaker-For the World Heavyweight Championship! I can't wait for this match it should be one of the best of the night! Will Edge continue his own undefeated streak and end Taker's? Will the Deadman go 16-0? Will this be a freakin amazing match?! Junk's Pick: R.I.P. Edge! Undertaker 16-0! Match #7: Shawn Michales vs. Ric Flair-Career Threatening Match! Could this be the th Nature Boy's last match? The last time we hear a WOOOOOO!!! Will Shawn Michales do as he says and put "Old Yeller" out of his misery? So many questions will be answered this Sunday. Naitch for sure will have a very emotional weekend, first getting inducted into the Hall of Fame on Saturday, Then possibly wrestling his last match against one of his best freinds the next night. This is the match I am most looking forward to and beleive these two legendary men will steal the show! Junk's Pick: Shawn Michales. I beleive Flair's Career will unfortuantly end this Sunday at Wrestlemania. Match #8: Big Show vs. Floyd "Money" Mayweather! This one is going to be sweet! I really have no clue what will happen in this match seeing as they are hyping Show to win it, but how could he not?! Wow this is gonna be good! Junk's Pick: Floyd "Money" Mayweather. This may be the stupidest prediction I have ever made, but I think Rey Mysterio will come out and help Mayweather win this thing, to get revenge on Big Show fo almost chokeslamming him at No Way Out. You never know! Match #9: Randy Orton vs. John Cena vs. Triple H-Thriple Threat Match For the WWE Championship! And this match will be, I beleive a classic Wrestlemania Main Event! Triple threat means No DQ so anything can and probally will happen! Junk's Pick: John Cena. I am almost certain Orton won't win so It will either be HHH or Cena, and Cena has never lost at Mania so I'm going with him to win the WWE Championship! But I do beleive he will lose the title in a matter of minutes! I think Mr. Kennedy [if my prediction on the MITB match is correct] will come out, cash the breifcase in, and will defeat John Cena to become the new WWE Champion!! I also wanted to say that John Legend is singing the National Anthem this year which should be really good, and Kim Kardashian is the guest hostess of the night. Big Show vs. Mayweather,Flair vs. HBK, and Mania 24 predictions coming soon!

Hey everyone and welcome to another breathtaking installment of Junk Is Blogged! Well in all reality this post is'nt all that breathtaking. But I do have a few interesting things to say so let's get to it! Last night's Monday Night Raw was very good and it really has gotten me pumped up for Wrestlemania! It looks as though there making Floyd "Money" Mayweather the heel going into his match at Wrestlemania vs. Big Show. I like that approach because heel or babyface, most wrestling fans are not going to cheer for a boxer over a wrestler. I am glad they are making it a mixed martial arts match instead of a boxing match, because this way Show won't be limited to just throwing punches. I give props to WWE because this time they are doing the celebrity and wrestling thing the right way. Unlike, oh I don't know, David Arquette winning the WCW World Championship! Anyways I'm really looking forward to their match. Another match I'm really looking forward to is Shawn Michales vs. the soon to be Hall of Famer, Ric Flair. Last night there was some friction between the two when HBK told Naitch that he does'nt want to be the guy that ends his career but it's Wrestlemania and if Flair does'nt back down from this match he's gonna have to. Hmmm, I wonder if HBK will be a little bit of a heel going into Mania? Can't wait for this match, and I am going on record and predicting it to be the showstealer! Also don't forget to check out ECW tonight because there could be a new ECW champion crowned when CM Punk faces off against Chavo Guerrero.
